I am a keen organic gardener and am learning beekeeping. My aim the first year was just keeping them alive, and I managed to share a few jars of honey.

This year I've built a Topbar Hive and caught a swarm for it just when I completed the main part.

I learned to dive in the Red Sea a few years ago, but since deciding not to fly I haven't been diving much.

I have two daughters.

I am involved in the organisation of Transition Liskeard and Caradon

My latest practical skill learned is basketry, a very zen activity with a physical result at the end and particularly satisfying when using home-grown willow and other materials. I recently made a living fence at Trevenna Farm.
